Registration to IESMA 2014 conference extended

Registration to IESMA 2014 extended until 24 October 2014. The NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence and the State Military Scientific Technical Center „DELTA“ of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia have the pleasure to invite you to the conference and industry exhibition “Innovative Energy Solutions for Military Applications” (IESMA 2014) 12-14 November, 2014, Vilnius, Lithuania.

IESMA 2014 is supported by the  Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom (Technology Delivery), NATO‘s Emerging Security Challenges Division, NATO‘s Science for Peace and Security Programme and NATO‘s Support Agency.

The purpose of IESMA 2014 is to provide a platform for information exchange on best practices and technologies for advancing energy efficiency in the military. The event will have two components: a conference and an industrial exhibition. The conference will bring together experts from academia, industry and the military who will exchange knowledge and discuss lessons learned, with a focus on standard, advanced and cutting-edge energy saving technologies. The industrial exhibition will give an opportunity for innovative energy technology and solution providers to display and explain their offerings to all IESMA 2014 participants. 

IESMA 2014 conference and exhibition will take place at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO, Vilnius, Lithuania (www.litexpo.lt) from 09.00 to 19.00 hours, on 12-13 November 2014. The Conference will also be expanded to 14 November 2014 as it will be followed by the governmental workshop dedicated specifically to discuss two key issues: NATO's Smart Energy strategy and opportunities for accelerating Smart Energy technologies and solutions. The workshop will be closed to the public, participation will be strictly upon invitations.
