Lithuanians from Belgium and Luxemburg participate at the sixth sports festival at NATO Staff Centre

The sixth Lithuanian sports festival took place at the NATO Staff Centre in Brussels on 14-15 of May. The games are organized by the three Lithuanian diplomatic missions in Brussels and the Lithuanian communities of Belgium and Luxemburg and they bring together Lithuanians living in these two countries.                The NATO Staff Centre was full of Lithuanian colours throughout the weekend. The games saw over 400 participants. Tournaments of basketball, football, tennis, table tennis, badminton, fencing, bowling, swimming took place throughout the two days. In addition to the traditional sports there were games for the family members and children. Over 100 medals were won, and over 160 diplomas were distributed.                                                 The so-called BELUX Lithuanian sports festival has become a tradition.
