Lithuanian soldiers delivered aid to Chaparai villagers in Afghanistan

On January 20 Lithuanian-led PRT assisted Ghowr Governor's team in delivering humanitarian aid for the snowslide stricken Chaparai village.

Food and blankets, provided by the Village Affairs Department of Ghowr and Lithuanian PRT, were taken to the remote village by an all-terrain vehicle VH-206. The aid was escorted by PRT-6 commander Col. Albertas Kondrotas and a doctor from the Chaghcharan Hospital.
