Lithuanian diplomat start her work in NATO Liaison Office for Georgia

Lithuanian diplomat Kristina Baleišytė will start her work in Tbilisi, NATO Liaison Office for Georgia, at the beginning of February this year. Kristina Baleišytė will consult Georgian Government officials, non-governmental organizations, media and other interested institutions on questions of public information about NATO. She will also help implement NATO public diplomacy objectives for Georgia. NATO foreign ministers in their meeting in December 2008 decided to enhance the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia in order to help the country in its reform efforts on the way to NATO membership.
