An exhibition on the Battle of Grunwald is opened in the NATO Headquarters

A historical exhibition, commemorating 600 years from the Battle of Grunwald will be set up in NATO Headquarters in Brussels between 28 October and 5 November.   The exhibition is prepared by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Museum, and Lithuanian Art Museum, in cooperation with the Institute of Poland in Vilnius. The aim of the exhibition is to present the historical events that lead to the battle of Grunwald, as well as the battle itself and its signifficance to Lithuanian and European history. The exhibition also presents the most important Lithuanian Grunwald cultural projects and the representation of Grunwald in the arts.   The opening of the exhibition in the NATO headquarters also witnesses hundreds of years of Lithuanian military experience.
